They have a new heavy rock theme for Dynamite along with a new logo and new tunnels.

Tony Schiavone interviews Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana in the ring. Tony asks what's next for Swerve. Swerve said this is his house and he has the keys. Swerve talked about losing in the 3 way. He said he was going to be champ but has no gold on his waist. Swerve said maybe this is karma and payback for the things he has done.

He said maybe he's not supposed to be a champ but a role player. He said Revolution felt different and said people were truly rooting for him for the first time. He said he won't let those people down. He said he's coming for Joe, but doesn't know when or where.

Samoa Joe comes out. Joe said Swerve's talking funny and making promises he can't keep. He said Swerve's house exists in his world. He said he would let the people gaze  upon an actually champion. Swerve said Joe is talking spicy to a man he hasn't actually beat. Swerve said they should put Joe's title on the line right now.

The Undisputed Kingdom come out. Cole said people are only talking about The Undisputed Kingdom. He said Strong is the International and Taven/Bennett are the greatest ROH champs of all time. He said Wardlow will win the AEW title and said he will bring it home to its rightful place and points at himself.

Swerve asked how many times has Cole missed his opportunity for the title. He calls him Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget and said he has Britt Baker's number in his pocket if he needs new clients. Cole said Taven and Bennett should face Swerve and Joe next week. Swerve said they should do it now. Cole said Swerve doesn't make the rules around here, they do. Tony Schiavone then says Tony Khan made the match for right now. 

Samoa Joe and Swerve Strickland vs Mike Bennett and Matt Taven

 

Joe hits punches on Taven then chops Mike. Joe hits corner punches on Mike. Taven 2nd rope dropkicks Mike when Joe moves. Joe face kicks and sentons Taven for 2. Taven springboard kicks Joe for 2.

We go to PiP break and return. Taven step up enzugiri's Joe then takes a uranage. Swerve gets offense in on both opponents and headscissors Taven. Swerve 2nd rope euros Mike in the back of the neck then pump kicks him on the apron. Swerve rolls into a flatliner on Mike then suplexes him.

Swerve goes up top and hits a top rope double stomp on Mike. Swerve house call kicks Taven then hits the JML driver to win it.

It was an easy win as expected for Joe and Swerve. I don't know why this happened or why Joe and Swerve would even care to wrestle in this with how bad Bennett and Taven have been booked. Taven and Bennett also shouldn't be losing when they are the ROH tag champs.

Swerve stares down Joe after. Joe puts Swerve in a choke. Wardlow takes off his shirt and stares down Joe. I think they were at least partially turning Swerve here.

They announce Samoa Joe vs Wardlow for the AEW Title next week at Big Business. 

Hook is interviewed by Renee. Chris Jericho walks in. He said the first match he had in the US was against Taz. He said Taz suplexed him on his head. He said he had a connection with Taz, so he has one with him. He said he never respected Hook until he dumped him on his head. Chris said maybe he is the read deal and congrats on that.

The Young Bucks do a promo. They are goofing around and say they have two huge announcements. They say they should make them later in the ring tonight.

FTR Title - Hook (c) vs Brian Cage

 

Hook hits punches to the gut then is superkicked. Cage release germans Hook then hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. Hook goes under the ring and sprays him with a fire extinguisher. Hook hit him with a trash can lid then Hook is sent into the stairs.

Cage goes into the steps on a failed charge then Hooks jumps off the steps and is caught with a powerslam. Cage runs at him and goes through the rails. We go to PiP break and return. Cage chairs Hook then takes a ddt on a chair. Hook flying lariats him then exploders him. Hook then exploders him onto the guardrail for 2. Cage wheelbarrows him into a neckbreaker.

Cage powerbombs him then F-5's him on a chair. Cage pours out thumbtacks then Hook hits kendo stick shots on him. Hook exploders Cage onto tacks. Hook hits crossface shots and gets on Cage's back with redrum, then Cage drops him into the thumbtacks. Hook then submits him.

This was your usual hardcore match. I didn't like Hook throwing around Cage and I'd say it was average otherwise.

Kaun nails Hook from behind after then Toa jumps in. Chris Jericho comes out with a bat, saving Hook. 

They announce a tag team tournament for the titles since Sting and Darby are the champs and Sting has retired.

Renee interviews Best Friends. OC said he will do the same thing he always does now that he's not the International champ and will try to win other titles. Chuck said it's past time that him and Trent win the tag titles, but he said he can't due to injury. He said OC and Trent should compete in the tournament instead and they agree.

Killswitch vs Matt Menard

Matt goes after KS before the bell rings. Matt hits corner punches and runs at him with lariats. KS chokeslams him. KS hits lariats to the back of the neck and picks up the win in this quick one.

I'm not sure why this was a squash when it could have been a normal match.

KS grabs Matt after then Daniel Garcia comes out and pounds on him. Nick Wayne gets in and DG hits him. KS hits a big boot on DG then Nick hits an os cutter.

The Patriarchy poses on the ramp then Adam Copeland jumps them. He hits KS with a chair and throws him off the ramp, barely hitting one of the tables. Adam chokes out Nick then blocks Mother Wayne's low blow attempt. Adam then chases Christian through the crowd to the back. The chase continues to the parking lot where Christian steals a car to get away.

Adam Copeland then does a promo. He said Christian ran like a b!tch and said it needs to end where it started in Toronto. He said they should fight for the TNT Title in an I-Quit match.

Renee interviews Kyle O'Reilly. He's wearing a dirty shirt and said he didn't think he would ever wrestle again. He said he's just grateful. He said he loves and respects The Undisputed Kingdom. He said he fell so far down the mountain, he doesn't know which path he will take. He said he has to do it on his own now that he has a second chance.

Tony Schiavone interviews The Young Bucks in the ring. The Bucks kick Tony out and said Sting and Darby cheated.  As usual, they said this in an over the top and goofy manner. They said they ended Sting's career forever. They said they will be in the tag tournament and will get the tag titles back.

They said Adam Page put his hands on two AEW officials at the PPV. They said he is suspended indefinitely from "The Elite" without pay. They said it's like Kenny Omega disappeared and said he's fired from The Elite.

Eddie Kingston comes out. Eddie said if he talks crap about them, he's fined. He then throws money at them and says fine him now. One of the Bucks grabs him then the other one does. Eddie nails a Buck then is low blowed by the other. They go for the EVP trigger then Kazuchika Okada's music hits. Okada then rainmakers Eddie Kingston LMAO

The Young Bucks say Okada is the newest member of The Elite.

Hold up, Okada left New Japan FOR THIS? I better not ever hear a joke about WWE screwing up with foreign talent again when Okada is being put with these two. This is TNA Okato all over again. This also makes no sense since he's in Chaos, which Best Friends are part of, so he should be with them.

Kris Statlander vs Riho

 

Kris slams Riho then misses a flipping legdrop. Kris is tripped into the 2nd rope then shoulders Riho over. Kris bearhugs her then suplexes her. Riho is caught off the 2nd rope then Kris gorilla press slams her.

We go to break and return. Riho hits forearms then Kris chops her. Kris misses a move and is double stomped. Riho dropkicks her and slips on the ropes while hitting forearms. Riho northern lights suplexes her.

Kris hits a lariat that ends up being more of a punch. Kris short arm lariats her. Riho hurricanrana's her then hits a 619. Riho top rope crossbodies her, Kris rolls through, then Riho dragon suplexes her for 2. Kris powerboms her for 2.

Stokeley Hathaway gets on the apron and gives Kris a weapon. Kris doesn't use the weapon then Riho takes a wheelbarrow german. Kris goes for another and is rolled up for the Riho win.

This was ugly with Riho struggling to manipulate Kris, a dirty finish and them having multiple sloppy moments. Riho also basically just wore underwear here under her skirt and the camera's got all of those shots.

Renee interviews Toni Storm and her crew. Mariah May is dressed up like old Toni Storm. Toni said it's award season and said she will present the first ever Toni Awards. She then gives Mariah May her first ever shirt, which she says is the same as her shirt. May says Toni's line to end the segment.

Stokeley Hathaway and Willow Nightingale are interviewed. Stoke said he wishes Kris would accept the help from the people who care about her most. Renee says Willow faces Riho next week. Willow tells Stoke we do things her way next week. Willow says she knows she can beat Riho, the former champ. She said she wants to be a champ herself and said she has her sights set on the TBS Title. She said she wants to be the face of TBS.

Tony Schiavone interviews Darby Allin in the ring. Darby said he was homeless here a few years ago and was main eventing a PPV this week. Darby said he's facing Jay White next week then is going to climb Mt. Everest on March 27th. Darby said he doesn't know if he will come back alive. He thanks the fans and AEW for giving him his dream. He said if next week is his last match, he will g out fighting for his life. Darby said he can't replace Sting and won't defend the titles with a new partner. He then throws the title down and says congratulations to the next team who wins this.

Jay White and The Gunn's come out. He congratulates him on a great night at the PPV. He said Darby showed the world how much he cared about Sting and said what he did on top of the ladder was stupid. Jay says Sting is gone and now Darby is alone. He asks what Darby is without Sting and said he's a lost puppy.

Jay said they don't need to have a match next week. Jay said worse things can happen if Darby faces him. Jay said Darby should come hang with Jay's crew. Jay said he can be called "Darby Scissorhands". Jay says he can scissor Billy Gunn. Darby said Jay won championships and headlined The Dome and all he has done is play with cardboard cutouts. He said he 's as good as he thinks he is, he will come alone. He puts Sting's bat in Jay's throat and says he will see him at Big Business next week.

They sure teased a return to being heel for Jay here and seem to have noticed that he hasn't done much so far in AEW.

Julia Hart and Skye Blue do a promo. Hart said Willow forgot who she is. She said she will have an open house on Rampage to remind anyone of who the TBS champ is.

The House of Black do a promo. Buddy said they will fight fire with fire and eradicate Mark Briscoe. Buddy said he has scars he won't forget from his feuds with The Briscoe's. They said to let them know whether they need to dig one grave or three and Hart sang "Ring of Fire".

Mark Briscoe is interviewed by Renee. He said he's not scared and said he fears no man or evil. He says he will take The House of Black on by himself at Collision. Jay Lethal comes in. He said it's time he mans up and helps his friend of 10 years. Jay says he has his back. Mark says not to bring Jeff Jarrett. Jay says there's no one better to have on your side than Jeff Jarrett in a street fight. Jay says to trust him and says you don't have to trust Jeff Jarrett. I don't get this one since Mark was feuding with Jeff a few months ago.

Will Ospreay vs Kyle Fletcher

Will rolls out of a wristlock and trips Kyle. Kyle shoulders over Will then Will kips up. Kyle armdrags him then Will flying headscissors him. Kyle tries to go up and over but is chopped. Will is thrown hard into the buckles.

We go to PiP break and return. Will plancha's him then backdrops him in the ring. Kyle half-nelson suplexes Will then kicks him in the corner. Kyle brainbusters him for 2. They hold each other's arms and chop each other.

Kyle superkicks Will. Will spinning forearms him and hook kicks him. Kyle goes for a powerbomb and takes a ddt. Kyle throws Will face first into the 2nd buckle. Will hook kicks him on the apron then Will os cutters him on the apron, which probably hurt Will more than it did Kyle.
We go to PiP break again and return. Will flips off of Kyle and takes a leg lariat. Kyle throws him up in the air and takes a poisonrana. Will flips out of a top rope dragon suplex. Will sitout powerbombs him for 2. Kyle does an usual side tiger driver. Kyle hits a sitout last ride for 2.

They announce Okada will make his debut on Collision with The Young Bucks (and that Titan will fight Jericho). Kyle gets his head superkicked into the top buckle then Will top rope poisonrana's him. Will then hits a hidden blade for 2. Will hits Kawada kicks then hook kicks him. Will takes a superkick then Will standing spanish flies him. Will hits an os cutter for 2. Kyle tells Will to hidden blade him and he does. Will wins it.

This was indy garbage with them getting spiked on their heads and still kicking out at 2. This was super dangerous and awful pro wrestling. Kyle also took a loss here as the ROH TV champ.

Will and Kyle shake then Bryan Danielson comes out. Bryan stares down Will as the show goes off air.

Overall thoughts: This show was awful and got me angry by the end of it. Okada debuted in what I consider to be a comedy role. Will and Kyle had a dangerous main event where they kicked out of everything. Riho and Kris had a slopfest. Then Swerve and Joe fought Taven and Bennett, despite them being treated like jobbers here. We also had two different sets of ROH champs lose clean on TV here.
